Adult (and child age >12 years): 200 mg orally three times daily after meals (for up to 2 days)
Child (age 6 to 12 years): 12 mg/kg/day divided three times daily for up to 2 days

Discolors body fluids yellow-orange-red

Carcinogenic (possible)
Carcinogenic in rats as of 1981, and considered possibly carcinogenic in humans
